Dog Committee.— Messrs Pratt, Dunk, and Pringle. HONORARY LIFE MEMBER. The recommendation of the annual meeting, that Mr R. Stevens bo elected an honorary life member, was carried. _, Mr Lang said niat Mr Stevens wanted to obtain a list of the members in tne JDannevirke district, *o > that he would be able to canvass for i new members. PRIZE MONEY. • Mr W. F. Jacob moved that die prize-money be allotted on the same , basis as last year. Mr Johnston moved as an amendment thqt the Schedule Committees draw up their prize-lists on the same '. basis as last year, and that the lists , be submitted to the Finance Commit- ■ tee before next meeting of the Gent 1 ral Committee, sliding scales beim; , eliminated. The amendment was seconded bj Mr Lancaster. . Mr Johnston said that the savvig '. on the prize-money allocated and 1 ha; awarded aws about £200. Mr Pringle believed that most o? the saving was on the horses, ud he did not think that it was fair. T' c horse prizes should be fixed on a ; :^her scale, and there should bo no deduction whatever. The amendment was carried. NEXT MEETING. It was decided to hold the next meeting of the committee on April 28. SCHOLARSHIP ABANDONED. It was decided to abandon the scholarship offered for Lincoln College, as no advantage was being taken of it.
