Primitive Methodist Conference.

Telegraph. Press Association, Copyright Auckland, January* 14. At the Primitive Methodist Conference to-day, the station and Sunday School reports were considered and received. Station reports showed an increase of 93 members after filling up vacancies caused by death, removals, etc. The School reports showed that there are in the colony 69 Primitive Methodist Sunday Schools, with 54 (?) teachers and 4890 scholars. A deputation from, the Auckland Ministers' Association was received. The Conference dealt with the report of the Building Committee. This showed that the Connexion has church properties to the value of £42,137, and that £783 had been paid off the debt during the year, leaviuga present debt of £10,206. : The Century Convention was held this evening, and the question of how best to promote the Avork of God in our churches was dealt with.
