Tram Accident.
Telegraph. Press Association Copyright. Nelson January 15. An accident of a somewhat serious ' nature occurred in front of the Customs House this afternoon. A palace ' car, containing about twenty passengers, was attempting to pass another, when the wheels became blocked in the tram line, and the car was overturned. Several of the passengers were considerably shaken. Mr Chas. Larkins received a cut in the neck, and is much bruised about the body, and the doctor cannot say yet whether or not any ribs are broken. Miss Low, a visitor from Wellington, had her ankle sprained, and others were less severely hurt.
