Cycling.
The following handicaps have been declared for the bicycle race to be held iii Feilding to-morrow, at 6 o'clock:— sec. ' sec. G. Porter scr E. Charles 60 D. Sinclair 10 C. Hodges , 60 S. Barrow 10 B. Bowater 60 J. H. Mingins 20 A. Donald 65 W. Splatfc 30 E. Hicks 70 G. Barry 30 T. H. Dunn 70 A. C. Foster 45 J. Watson 70 I J. Fisher 45 W. Valentine 75 B. Henderson 45 J. Munro 75 A. Goldfinch 45 G. Goodin 80 A. Hayward 45 F. Hasse 80 0. J. Lyons 50 C. E. Watson 85 H. Henderson 50 H. Bishop 90 G. MacAUister 60 C. Duckworth 100 A. Carson 60 The prizes are: — First, acetylene gas lamp, value 22s 6d; second, bicycle sundries, value ss. Riders are requested to attend punctually at 6 p.m. in Manchester Square. The promoters of this race started the project in the hope of forming a cycling club in Feilding, and their efforts have been so far successful, that it is probable a meeting will be called at an early date to discuss the matter.
