Tbe Annual Conference) of the Political Labor League resolved to add old age pensions to their fighting platforn and to include the nationalisation of the land and the whole means of production distribution and exchange as a plank of tboir general platform. That portion of the federal platform adopted at last year's conference favoring two houses of Federal Legislature to be rescinded as inconsistent with labor principles ; that in connection with the plebiscite to be taken next general elections on the { tariff question the labor candidates take no part in the advocacy of either free I trade or protection but pledge themselves to support that policy which gains the majority of votes.
