The Wreck of the Warren Hastings.
(Per Press Association.) Calcutta, Jan. 25. Later particulars of the wreck of the troop ship Warren Hastings show that the disaster occnrred during a dark stormy night. After the vessel struck the crew succeeded in getting a rope ashore, along which those on board who could not swim safely passed until the ship was about to capsize. All swimmers were then ordered to jump overboard and make for the shore. Splendid discipline was maintained. The troops succeeded in rescuing all except two natives.
