North Island Bands' Association

A meeting of delegates representing a large number of bands in the North Island was held here to day when a Band Association for the North Island was formally constituted and officers elected. The executive centre, it was decided, to be Palmerston North, and Mr M. Cohen and Jas. Grace were elected President and Treasurer respectively. The date and place of the first contest will be decided this afternoon. —
