FEILDING GETS A WIN. (P6r Press Association. l Wellington. January 25. The Exhibition bowling tournament began to-day, the Wellington and Thorndon greens being used. It was arranged that the Christchurcb, Kaituna and Dunedin teams should, for the purposes of the inter-club matches, be joined together and play under the name of the South Island team. Mr Thomson (Christchurch) gave notice that be would move at the meeting that "No bowls of lower draw than Taylor's No. 3 biaß be allowed at future tournaments." The following is the result of the inter-club matches : — FIRST ROUND. Auckland defeated Feilding by 81 to 54. Newtown (Wellington) defeated Palmerston North by 62 to 60. Thorndon (Wellington) defeated New Plymouth by 59 to 53. Wanganui defeated Hastings by 75 to 47. South Island beat Wellington by 88 to 76. Napier beat Gisborne by 63 to 61. SECOND ROUND. Thorndon bent Hastings by 67 to 57. New Plymouth beat Wanganui by 68 to 53. Palmerston beat Auckland by 60 to ! 57. Newtowu beat Feilding by 64 to 50. Wellington beat Gisborne by 57 to 52. South Island beat Napier by 69 to 44. Wellington beat Napier by 72 to 50. South Island beat Gisborue by 71 to 58. THIRD ROUND. Thorndon beat Palmerston by 70 to 52. Newtown beat Hastings by 66 to 57. New Plymouth beat Auckland by 64 to 59. Wanganui beat Feilding by 53 to 50. This Day. Result of the first draw to day. Napier beat New Plymouth 61 to 50. Wellington beat Hastings 75 to 41. South Island beat Palmerston North 82 to 42. Feilding beat Gisborne 64 to 57. Other games unfinished. The score in the Napier v Now Plymouth was 59 to 72. Wanganui beat Auckland 69 to 67, Newtown beat Thorndon 62 to 57. This completes the first draw to day.
