Gratitude Expressed.
During the Tuakau Town Board meeting on Alouday last a letter ol thanks from Ihe former chairman. Air (i. S. Arrows]nill), was I‘oad hv Hie clerk. Mr M. R. D. AteGahan. Mr Arrowsmifli expressed gralitude lo : his fellow board members for the way ■ they had assisted him in carrying out | |,is duties. He. said his associations with the board had always been pleasant On the suggestion of Hie new chairman, Air T. G. Morgan, it was decided lo write Mr Arrowsmith thanking him for his letter. Jl was also decided lo grant him leave of absence. as lie is still a board member, though he lias resigned from the position of chairman.
