A largely-signed petition from Hie ratepayers nf Tuakau was received by the Tuakau Town Board on Monday asking for an announcement regarding the statutory half holiday for the low’ll district. On the motion of Mr \V. Barnaby. seconded by Mr A. Boyle, it was decided lo lake a poll to d< ride the question.
