RIFLE SHOOTING.
THE CLEVEDON CLUB.
The Glevedon Rifle Defence Club officialy opened its range oh Saturday. The ceremony was performed by this president, Colonel Noel Adams, in the presence of about 40 members and visitors. He wished the club a successful season. 'A match with Papakura over 200 and 300 yards resulted in a win for Glevedon. Scores are as follows:—
Clevedon*: Murray, 46, 45 —01; Finn, 43. 45—88: Blake, 43. 44—87; Brown, 36, 44—80: McKenzie, 39, 39 —7B; total. 424.
Papakura: Walker, 43, 46—59; Hichardson, 40, 45—85; Henderson, 30, 39—78: Clarke, 38, 30—51; Broderick, 36, 37—73: total, 402.
