CRICKET NOTES.
THE PUKEKOHE ASSOCIATION.
COLTS CLUB MEETS
Fifteen attended the annual meeting of the Colts Cricket Club, the president,, Mr R. Schlaepfer, presiding. The balance sheet showed a small credit balance, while the report recorded the fact that the club’s team again won the senior championship of the Pukekohe association. - The following officers were elected: President, Mr R. Schlaepfer; secretary, Mr D. Wild: delegates to the association, Messrs A. Hewitt and E. Mills. A further meeting will be held after the decision of the association is known concerning the conduct of the game during the approaching season, members being of the opinion that it might be necessary to enter three teams from the two Pukekohe clubs.
CLUB FORMED AT GLENBROOK. At a meeting of cricketers in the Glenbrook district recently it was decided to resuscitate the Glenbrook club. The following officers were elected: President, Mr C. J. T. Hodgkinson, secretary and treasurer, Mr J. C. Bellingham; committee, Messrs D. Dromgool, .T. Whittle, R. McLaren, L. Bellingham, E. Prescott, A. Hodgkinson, H. Hay, S. Cameron, P. Oakden and J. Hepburn: hon. auditor, Mr/E. H. Gibson. The club hopes that other clubs wdl bo formed so as to make a country association, playing matches from about 10.30 a.m. until about 3.30 p.m.
