Graham’s Beach Settlers’ Association.
ANNUAL MEETING HELD. NO INVITATION TO COUNCILLORS. ALLEGED UNFAIR TREATMENT. Arrangements to bold the annual meeting on January 14 were made at a largely-attended meeting of the Graham’s Beach Settlers’ Association held recently. Some discussion arose on the question of ext'ending an invitation to the chairman and riding member of the Franklin County Council. On being put to the meeting, the voting against the proposal was practically unanimous, the opinion being expressed that-in view of the unfair treatment accorded to the association by these councillors, to extend an invitation would tend to lower the dignity of the association.
