BOWLING NOTES.
PUKEKOHE CLUB TOURNEY. WIN FOR ARMSTRONGS RINK. The Pukekohe- Bowling Club conducted a most successful one-day fullrink tournament yesterday. Fourteen rinks competed, the Onehunga (2), Devonport, Rocky Nook. Mangere, Patumahoe, Tuakau. Buckland and Pukekohe (6) clubs, being represented. ■ Five rounds were played, the winning rink, J. Neale, D. Ingram, J. Adams and G. H. Armstrong securing 4£ wins; The vice-president of the club, Mr F. Perkins, presented miniature cups to the winning rink. The runners up were: G. T. Proude, R. Walsham, W. Massey and W. J. Short, with "four wins and one loss. The positions of the other rinks ! were:— ! D. Roulston (Pukekohe), F. Hoskj ing (Pukekohe). 3 wins, 2 losses: Gat j.lhnd (Onehunga), Kenny (Onehunga). |O. Butcher (Buckland). W. Johns I (Patumahoc), 2 wins. 2 losses and a | draw: Tongue (Rocky'Nook), Smeed | (Tuakau), 2 wins, 3 losses: W. Blake I (Pukekohe), 1 win, 2 losses and 2 I draws: Nicholls (Mangere), Davies , (Devonport), Munro (Pukekohe), 1 I win. 3 losses and a draw.
