ON ’CHANGE TO-DAY: RISE OF 3D IN SYDNEY WOOLWORTHS
An improvement in Sydney Woolworth* was marked on the Dunedin Exchange this morning, with reported business at 24s 6d, followed by a transaction in the room at 24s 9d. Closing buyers offered at 24s lOd, with best buyers la away. There was a slightly better tone in Australian banks, but other sections of the market were generally steady on late rates.
