McCREADY INJURED IN BOUT WITH OTTO KUSS

(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH. July 15. Otto Kuss (17st 21b) beat Earl McCreadv (17st 41b) in a \yrestling contest this evening. McCready was injured in the seventh round and was unable to continue. McCready took a fall in the fifth round with a rocking chair splits. In the seventh round he went through the ropes, and Kuss brought him back with a flying head scissors. Kuss then twisted McCready’s head in the scissors, and McCready suffered an injury to his neck.
