KEW BUS PASSENGERS MAY BE PICKED UP ANYWHERE
Advice was received .by letter from tlie transport authorities of the City Corporation at the committee meeting of the Kew Ratepayers and. Householders’ Association, confirming the fact that passengers may be picked up for transport by bus, on both the inward and outward services, at any recognised bus stop, irrespective of whether it was on a tram route, and also that the stop at South Murray street had been changed to just below the ramp in Playfair street. It was decided by the committee to make a request for a time-table to be erected in the waiting shed at Forbury Corner, and for a bus stop sign to be erected in Playfair street, off Main South road.
The chairman (Mr Clifford Muir) and secretary (Mr F. H. Wilkinson) were appointed the representatives to the meeting convened by the North-east Valley association to discuss the question of bus routes within the city area.
