(N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent.)
(Rec, 10 a.m.) LONDON, July 14. A number, of hitherto unpub* lished Sherlock Holmes manuscripts by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle were discovered when Adrian Conan Doyle, son of the author, went to a bank at Cromberrough, Sussex, to remove papers his father had stored there in 1922, eight years before his death. The papers include a one-act play entitled, ‘The Crown and the DiamondJ which centres ' around an evening with Sherlock , Holmes, and some notes entitled, ‘ Some Personalia About Mr Sherlock Holmes.' Adrian Conan Doyle said there were facts" in these notes which would explode a “ lot .of myths about my father and Sherlock Holmes.”
