Troubles of Greece: Plotters at Home, Enemies on the Borders

(Rec. 9 a.m.) • ATHENS, July 14. It is officially announced that 1,100, including technicians in the public services, were arrested in Athens to-day, and charged with planning sabotage, says Reuter’s correspondent. One thousand more were arrested in the suburbs, and 1,000 in Piraeus. Those arrested brought the total since the drive began against alleged plotters on July 9 to nearly 4,000.
