MILITARY LAW IMPOSED ON PALESTINE TOWN

(Rec. 10.30 a.m.) , JERUSALEM, July 14. Military law was imposed to-day on between 10,000 and 14,000 Jews living iii an area six miles long by four miles wide around Nathanya, where the two British sergeants were kidnapped on Friday night and are believed to be held captive. The cordoning of Nathanya under martial law began at 7 p.m. local time. Thousands of troops are building wire entanglements around the town. Traffic in and out has already stopped, and all telephone and postal facilities have ceased. Housewives rushed to buy stocks. Most of the controlled area lies north of Nathanya. It includes many Jewish settlements on the coastal plain.
