CHARGE OF FORGING TOTALISATOR TICKET
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 14; , Earle Dodds, a labourer, aged 31, was charged before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Police Court to-day with thb forgery of a totalisator ticket. The charge was, Making a false document, a totalisator ticket, at Wellington on July 9 to show that a £1 place investment had been made in respect of racehorse No. 15 in the eighth race at the Wellington Racing Club’s Winter Meeting held on July 12, knowing the same to be false, with intent that it should be acted upon as genuine, and thereby committing the crime of forgery.”On the application of the police, the accused was remanded to July 23.
