POLICE ANNOUNCE DEATH OF RUBOWITZ
(Rec. 11.0 a.in.) JERUSALEM, June 24. The Palestine polite disclosed that Alexander Rubowitz, the 17-year-old Jew whose disappearance from Jerusalem on May 6 was linked with the arrest and escape from custody of Major Roy Farran, is dead. The police officially informed the boy’s family, but did not disclose' how he died. BOMB THROWN IN JERUSALEM (Rec. 10.35 a.m.) JERUSALEM, June 24. All the gates to Jerusalem’s fortified security zones were'closed to-night shortly after a grenade was thrown into the yard of the military court building. Police headquarters radioed all patrol bars to he on tlie' alert for booby traps.
