LINER QUEEN MARY WILL SOON RESUME ATLANTIC SERVICE

(Rec. 8 a.m.) LONDON, June 24. The liner Queen Mary is expected to complete her special refit and be ready to resume the trans-Atlantic passenger service by the end of July of early in September. The ship’s public rooms have been enlarged, and more deck space has been provided for the passengers and improved accommodation for the.crew. The long saloon has been decorated with 32 speciallycarved wood panels, the work of Mr E. Bainbridge Copnall, head master of the Sir John Cass Art School, London.
