FIRST CONSIGNMENT OF GERMAN REPARATIONS REACHES DOMINION
(P.A.> WELLINGTON. June 24. The first consignment of Germany's reparations in kind for New Zealand, consisting of machinery and machine tools, has arrived at Wellington from Antwerp, and is being sorted by the War Assets Realisation Board. Brigadier H. E. Avery, genera] manager of the board, states that the goods are valued at several thousands of pounds. They will not be sold at public auction, but will be allocated to Government departments and industry. Further consignments will arrive Iron) time to time
