STRANGLED WOMAN’S BODY

FOUND

VICTIM OF SEX FIEND

(Rec. 11.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 4. The strangled body of an unidentified woman, aged about 40, was found in Cooper Park, in the suburb of Woollahra. The police believe that the murder was committed on Saturday evening, when the woman was walking along the narrow, steep paths through the dense scrub in the park. Two boys found the body, which was almost nude. The clothing was piled nearby. The police so far have only . the slenderest clues to the woman’s identity. They believe she may have been a student or a teacher of music, because m.usic albums were seen on a nearby rock before the discovery of the bodv was reported. The woman’s injuries showed that she was the victim of a sex fiend.
