DEVELOPMENT OF JAMAICA
CARGILL FAMILY MEMBER’S PLAN IN GUEST OF TREASURY BACKING (Rec. 8 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 2 New Zealand has a link with Jamaica. A member of a branch of the Cargill family, which was prominent in the development of Otago, is at present in London seeking means of making a similar mark in the development of Jamaica. He is Jamaicaborn Morris Cargill, who seeks Treasury backing, for £3,000,000 to establish a public utility corporation.
