Second year; £245 p.a., less £SO p.a. for board (£3 5s p.w. and board and lodging after payment of taxes). Third year: £260 p.a., less £SO p.a. for board (£3 10s p.w. and board and lodging after payment of taxes). Overtime is payable at; time and a-half (3s 4d per hour for first-year nurse) for time worked beyond ordinary duty of approximately 42 hours per week. Cooks and Laundresses: Rates of pay as for Nurses., 40-hour 5-day week.
