'THE AMAZING MR ROOKLYN'

" The Amazing Mr Rooklyn " was horu in London, of Russian parentage, and actually started his magical tricks at the age of 13. Although only 40 years of age now, he has been performing his illusions for the past 18 years. His seasons at the Tivoli Theatres—in Svdney, Melbourne, and Adelaide—had to be extended, and it is reported that on the occasion of his third performance in Wellington the whole theatre was sold out, with the exception of the gallery. The Dunedin season will commence at His Majesty's on Fridaynight. Box plans are now open. Full particulars are advertised.
