SHARE MARKET. Business was brisker on 'change this morning than for some time. Two parcels of P. and O. deferred stock were sold at 66s 3d, a buyer still offering 665. The New Zealand Meat Producers' .Board advises that the ewe schedule in the South Island will be increased by oneeighth of a penny per lb as from tomorrow. This increase is accounted for by wool growth, and also by the low average weights. PROPERTY SALES. Messrs R. S. McKenzie Ltd. report haying this week sold in the estate of Mary Ann Blair, a house at 29' Hawthorn Avenue. There was good competition for the house, which is in need of repair, the property going to a cash purchaser at £530. Messrs McKenzie Ltd. also-report having sold under instructions from Messrs T. Scurr Ltd. their two-story brick -premises and certain sections adjoining, known as 329 Cumberland street. The purchasers were Messrs F. J. Lake Ltd., and the consideration £14,000. Consent to the transfer has been given by the Land Sales Committee.
