ROYALTY'S NURSE

QUEEN AND PRINCESSES AT FUNERAL LONDON, * January 5. The Queen and Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret attended St. Paul’s. WandOnbury. Herts , for the funeral of Mistress Clara Cooper Knight, who was nurse to all three. A wreath of violets from the Queen bore the inscription: “In loving and thankful memory, from Elizabeth. R.” A wreath of mixed flowers from the Princesses was inscribed: In loving memory of darling Ala. from Elizabeth and Margaret.” The grave is next to that of the Queen’s brother, John Bowes-Lyon, ■who -died in 1930 from a wound suffered in the Great War.
