DALMORE AFFAIRS

COMMUNITY HALL PROPOSED At the quarterly general meeting- of members of the Dalmore-Pine Hill Districts Ratepayers and Householders' Association, held on Monday, a letter was received from several residents asking the association to take up the matter of a community hall for the district. Mr J. T. Faulds was in the chair. Following a discussion, during which the view was expressed that Dalmore and Pine Hill badly needed such an a sub-committee was set up to investigate details and report to a special general meeting to be called later. The Town Clerk wrote stating that several requests by the association had been agreed to by the City Council, and it was decided to thank the council for its consideration, and to ask that bus time-tables be placed at Burgess's store in Orbell street and at Liberton. and that the time-table at the George street bridge should be brought np to date. ,
