Now that the war has ended a matter in which interest will be taken by housewives all over New Zealand and by others who ..have had to carry home n heavy loads of household goods, parti- ■ cularly meat and bread, is: When will it be'possible to reinstate deliveries? They will be pleased to know that this is one of the subjects receiving early official consideration. , In reply to an inquiry to-day, the Minister of Transport, Mr O'Brien, was brief and to the.point. "Zoning and other transport controls ' are' being examined," he said, "with, a view to relieving as many restrictions as possible, having regard to petrol and rubber supplies." The Minister also indicated that when the examination was completed a state-, ment would be^ma'de.
