INDUSTRIAL MAN POWER
DECISIONS ANNOUNCED The decisions in the appeals heard by th« Industrial Man-power Committee. Messrs M. W. Granthan (chairman). G. F. McKellar, and H. H. Gillard, on Tuesday, which were reserved are announced. The following appeals were not allowed:— - The Yorkshire Insurance against the direction of Miss D. W. Cunninghame to employment at the Roslyn Woollen Mills; S N. Gault, at present employed by Stevenson and Cook Ltd., against a direction to John McGregor and Co; W. J. Webber against refusal of permission to terminate his employment with the Fletcher Construction Company; .James Wren and Co., against the" direction of. Miss R. McKeown to employment' with Cadbury Fry Hudson Ltd. Miss M.. V . Henderson appealed against refusal of permission to terminate her employment at the Roslyn Woollen Mills. The appeal was allowed on a majority decision, Mr Gillard dissenting. The appeal of Mrs .). E. RUis, at present employed by Mackintosh Caley Phoenix Ltd.. against a direction.to the National Mortgage bag factory was allowed.
