SURPLUS MUNITIONS
TO BE DUMPED AT SEA ; (Rec. 8 a.m.) LONDON, Atfgust 17. _ More than 100,000 tons of ammunition will be loaded into ships at Italian ports, taken to sea and dumped overboard in the next two months, says "The" Times ' Rome correspondent. This represents a small part of the surplus American military stores remaining in Italy after 1,000,000 tons have been shipped to the Pacific. ,
