OUTSTANDING SERVICE IN INDIA (P.A.) WELLINGTON, August 18. The Rev. B. N. Eade, a' missionary of the New Zealand Baptist Missionary Society, received the Kaisar-i-Hind Gold Medal in the Birthday Honours for outstanding service during the recent famine in Bengal. , The Organisation he set up at Chandpur was regarded as a model for famine relief. [The Kaisar-i-Hind Medal, instituted in 1900, is awarded for ipublic service in the Indian Empire. Recipients may be of any race, or of either sex, and are- divided into first and second classes, receiving gold and silver medals respectively.]
