WEDNESDAY COMMUNITY SING

The Wednesday community singing session yesterday, under the leadership of " Whang " McKenzie and Harold - Davidson, with Noni Masters at the piano, was another very successful . function. Miss Betty Law was the soloist and sang three numbers. Mrs - Lee (Margaret) and Mrs Craig again kindly donated 10s each- Several other anonymous donations of money and goods were handed in, also a hand-, • knitted lady's jacket. Owing to numerous requests from both town and nountry enthusiasts for the session to tie broadcast, a petition was drawn up and received with enthusiasm.
