FRENCH TROOPS OPEN FIRE
BRITISH SOLDIERS WOUNDED (Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, June 27. . Two British soldiers were slightly wounded in a shooting incident which occurred at Aleppo, says Renter's Beirut correspondent. French troops are reported to have opened fire from the Commissioner's house. The British immediately requested the French officersHo give the cease fire order, hut the firing continued from the French barracks for one and a-half hours. Syrians are reported to have opened fire on a French supply, dump but were dispersed.
