In the North Pacific on Wednesday formations of . army Liberator" heavy bombers, and -° Mitchell .medium" bombers, escorted by Lightning and Warhawk fighters, carried out eight attacks against -Kiska. Hits were scored on the Japanese camp area, damaging the runway and revetment area.
