Over the coast Sergeant Keller'* squadron, on an offensive sweep, met a formation of Junkers 52's with ah escort;of Messersehmitt . 109's. which appeared to have just, taken . off. " It was. a shame to take the money." a Spitfire pilot said afterwards. While an English pilot attacked two of these' heavily-laden transports. Sergeant Keller, dived in on the third. All three enemy aircraft crashed into the sea in flames.
