The Otago-Souf.hland Methodist District Executive at its last meeting reaffirmed its concern and definite disapproval with regard to the use of Sundays for parades of the Air Training Corps. It was decided to make further representations to the authorities concerned with a view to having other times made available for such parades, thereby helping to preserve a more Christian observance of Sunday. The chairman, Rev. L, B. Neale, reported that the president of conference, Rev. Wra. Walker, of Remuera, Auckland, would be visiting Dunedin in September. Among other engagements, the president is to address a public meeting in Trinity Methodist Church on Tuesday. • September 22. With regard to the Campaign for Christian Order, attention was drawn to the intercession periods held each week at the Cathedral ou Tuesday, al 5.40 p.m. and Thursday, at; 5.15 p.m. ' respectively. The intercessions are of 15 minutes’ duration in each case.
