ESCAPED FROM HONGKONG
CHINESE AND BRITISH CHUNGKING, December 29. Admiral Chaiichck, Chinese representative in Hongkong.' who escaped by bout at the last minute, arrived in a northern Kwangtung village with 100 Chinese soldiers who took part in the defence of Ho ngkong. _ Other Chinese leaders and some British subjects also escaped.
