ENEMY SHIPPING
ATTACKED BY COASTAL COMMAND (British Official Wireless.) (Roe. 9.u0 a.m.) RUGBY, Dec. 30. An Air Ministry communique states that Beaufort aircraft of the Coastal Command attacked enemy shipping at La Pallice last night. No aircraft are missing from these operations. One of our fighters is missing from a patrol yesterday. U.S. FREIGHTER SUNK TORPEDOED IN ATLANTIC (Rec. 10. a.m.) NEW YORK, Dec. 30. Nineteen survivors who landed here to-night revealed that the United States 6,000-ton freighter Sagadahoc was torpedoed and sunk in the Atlantic on December 23.
