REFUSAL OF WORK
GOVERNMENT AWAITS REPORT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 30. Replying to a question to-day, th® Minister of Labour, Mr Webb, said h»‘ was awaiting a report from his department concerning the attitude off the chamber hands who refused worlq in the cool stores at Auckland on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Mr Webb added that he attached sufficient importance to the matter to have it referred to'the Cabinet for full consideration immediately the reporlj was received.
