TOWN HALL DANCE

A large number of visitors helped to swell the attendance of dancers and spectators at the -weekly Town Hall Dance on Saturday night, when both the main hall and the Concert Chamber were tilled almost to capacity. In the main hall the Georgians’ Strict Tempo Band supplied the music, and vocal numbers were contributed by Hiss Martha Mahavey and Mr David Maharey. A new dance band provided the music for the old-time programme in the Concert Chamber. Freddie Hind and his Royal Hawaiian® proved a popular combination, featuring Miss Rcsaleo Plank as the only girl drummer in Otago.
