DEMOCRATIC LABOUR PARTY
There was a large meeting of Democratic Labour Party members from the four Dunedin electorates in the Social Credit rooms last Tuesday evening. Now that the first Now Zealand conference has boon successfully concluded, the services of the Provisional Executive are no longer required, and it was for the purpose of winding up
its affairs that the meeting -was held. Mr D. Eoreham was in the chair. The treasurer’s report, which was adopted as read, revealed a very satisfactory balance, to be divided, on the wishes of the meeting, between the four electorates. On the motion of Mr D. Minnock the meeting recorded its sincere appreciation of the work done by the seven members of the Provisional Executive, especial reference being made -to the honorary secretary-trea-surer (Mr J. Hossock). Each member—Mrs
Walker, Mr D. Boroham (chairman), Messrs J. Hossock, L. Frame, D. Leech, G. Brown, and T. M'lnnes—made a short reply.
