MOSGIEL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
SACRED CONCERT A sacred concert —as part of Anzac commemoration—was held - last evening in the Mosgiel Presbyterian Church. The Rev. A. Macfarlane presided. The choir was assisted by vocalists and instrumentalists from Dunedin, who gave an enjoyable programme, as follows: Choir. ‘ Sing Alleluia Forth ’ and ‘ 0 Valiant Hearts’; solo, Mrs Ballautyne; ’cello solo, Miss Dorothy Rush; solo, Mr George Ross: organ solo, Miss Jean Hendry; solo. Miss Anita Proctor; choir. ‘‘ The Lost Chord ’ and ‘ Jerusalem ’ (soloist, Mrs Ballantvne); duet. Miss Kathleen Begg and Mr Tan M‘Nary; solo, . Miss Anita Proctor; quartet, Mrs Williamson, Miss Brown, and the Misses Gibson; solo, Mr lan M'Nary; ’cello solo. Miss Dorothy Rush; solo, Mr George Ross; choir, ‘Alleluia’ and ‘Recessional.’
