MAORI BATTALION
PRAISE FROM GENERAL DUIGAN [Pee United Peess Association.] PALMERSTON N., April 26. The Maori Battalion was inspected by General Duigan and Colonel Row, commanding the district. General Duigan said he had watched the training in the eleven weeks of camp, and all deserved the greatest credit for the energy and pcrscrverenco shown. The battalion, as with other units of the Second Expeditionary Force, had made remarkable progress. He wished the battalion good-bye and good luck.
