P. Northey). Most encouraging w r as the fact evidenced by nearly every competitor that the boys had been taught first of all something about scientific boxing as distinct from mere slogging, but that is not to suggest that willingness was uot a feature. The bouts were full of lively exchanges, and the school championship, fought by C. I. Overton and F. K. Rennie,_ was a. keen encounter, Overton winning tha decision after both had given an excellent account of themselves. _ G.
