PARIS in wartime carries on her activities in much the same manner as usual. Two things' are very noticeable however —the absence of children, and everyone’s gas mask. This “ issue ” respirator is contained in a cylinder, without which no Parisian is seen. Different coloured containers are also sold by shops to match clothes.
