BOXING

FISHER MATCHED WITH JENKIN The Match Committee of the Otago Boxing Association has arranged the first match of the new season, to take place at Dunedin on March 13, between Norman Fisher, the New Zealand Olympic representative, and Norman Jenkin, of Oamaru. The match will be over 12 three-minute rounds, being a return bout between the two, Fisher winning a splendid contest when the men first met some months ago. The annual meeting of the association will be held on March 1, and nominations for positions on the executive close on February 7.
